Several years of writing, rewriting, waiting, hoping, learning, praying and listening have final led to the launch of my first book, In The Image of Man.
I can still remember sitting down with my laptop on that first day and wondering what it would be like to combine my creativity with my writing. I spent significant time writing dramas for church, papers for my Master of Arts classes with Liberty University, and technical documents for work. But could I turn that writing toward pure story and write a novel?
I have to admit, at first I figured I'd probably get ten pages into the process and wipe my hands saying, "well, that was fun. Guess that's not my calling." Several months later, I completed the first draft of many. I'll talk more in future entries about the inspiration and direction that the book ultimately took, or you can stop on over to Amazon and download it.
For the time being, I have chosen to begin with e-publishing the book as the return on investment, and thus the contributions to Living Water, are considerably better with e-pub than hardcopy.
There's so much I'd like to say at this point, but you'll just have to check back periodically to see my future entries.
Hopefully, this is the beginning of a long author-reader relationship!
